Warhammer Night: Paint Night & Learn to Play Blood Bowl

Dates: March 21 (Saturday)

Time: 7pm - 10pm

Ages: 13-18

Cost: $40

Join us for youth Warhammer Night! This is a chance to work on painting your minis, show off your army, and learn to play Warhammer Blood Bowl. Loaner Blood Bowl teams will be set up for demo play with staff support, alongside a paint table and plenty of available tabletop space to set up a game of your own.

This event is open to youth aged 13-18 of all skill and experience levels. An Arrow Wood Games staff member will be on hand to help you tackle new techniques. Paints, brushes, and other materials will be available for use during the event, although we advise you to bring your own brushes if able as we will have limited variety available.

What is Blood Bowl?

Blood Bowl is a tabletop strategy game played with miniatures from the Warhammer universe. Players take on the role of Coaches to a gritty team of fantasy warriors in a world where conflicts are settled on the pitch, not the battlefield! Often played in a league format, Blood Bowl games have lasting impact, with players dealing or receiving grievous injury, and even dying on the pitch! Coaches manage their team roster season to season, leveling players up through game experience and achievements. Arrow Wood Games maintains two cutthroat teams of Blood Bowl players available for aspiring coaches to hone their skills.

Participants will have the chance to:

See how a Blood Bowl game is set up

Walk through basic mechanics and turn actions with a staff member

Try out the gameplay with guided support

Get a feel for the wild and whimsical sport of Blood Bowl

Will I be able to buy minis to paint at the event?

Select Warhammer products, paints, and brushes will be available for purchase during the event. Please note that loaner paint and brushes will be available, but participants must bring their own minis to paint.

Feel free to drop off your kids up to 5 minutes before program start time and please ensure they are picked up no more than 5 minutes after the program ends.

Outside of this grace window, we have a firm late fee policy aimed at ensuring our staff can prepare for other events or get home to their own families after work. You can find the full policy in our FAQ.
